Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S8, is expected to be unveiled next sometime in April next year. However, information regarding the smartphone has already started leaking. According to the information available right now, Samsung will release two variants of the device: the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. Now, information suggests that Samsung will use double the RAM and a faster storage chip. According to a new rumor out of China, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with 8GB of RAM, up from the 6GB figure we’ve been hearing so far.
The rumor notes that the phone will run an in-house SoC, produced using the 10nm process. It also says that the device will feature UFS 2.1 flash storage. The standard variant of the Galaxy S8 might feature a 5.1-inch curved display, and the rumoured Galaxy S8 Plus with a 6-inch curved screen. It is being suggested that the Galaxy S8 might feature a single rear-facing camera, while the Galaxy S8 Plus might feature a dual rear-facing camera setup. The South Korean smartphone giant might use its own AI digital assistant to compete with Apple’s Siri and Google’s Assistant. It will come preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung Experience user interface on top of it.
