In our typical light-night jailbreak and iOS 8.4.1 update fashion, we have mire exciting news to share with our readers. Just a week after Apple released 8.4.1 to patch the latest jailbreak, the Pangu team demonstrated an untethered jailbreak running on iOS 8.4.1 and an iPhone 6! Keep in mind, according to iOS 8.4.1’s security notes, it’s one of the most intense security updates in ages – patching a number of exploits from TaiG, Pangu and Evasi0n (see below video for an explanation).

Interestingly, the team says they have no plans to publicly release the jailbreak. This could be so their exploits still remain unpatched in iOS 9, though see the above video for an alternate theory.

8.4.1 Jailbreak Demonstration from Pangu

his announcement falls perfectly with Apple closing the signing window for iOS 8.4, making it now impossible for you to downgrade from 8.4.1
