iPhone is best known for being a high quality phone in the market, but as is the case with hardware, things will sometimes go wrong. Sometimes, your iPhone screen will turn back and won’t turn on no matter how many times you press the power or Home button to wake up your device. Now, show you 5ways to fix this problem.
1. Plug Your iPhone to the Battery Charger
Sometimes the battery has been drained completely, so you can’t turn on it. Thus, what’s you need to do is to wait for it to be charged enough before turning on. Please make sure that the charging cable or adaptor is working properly. You can use a different charging cable or adaptor to see if it solves the problem.
2. Perform a Hard Reset
Your iPhone won’t response when it’s frozen or there’s a problem with the software. Thus, you can reset to fix this problem.
First, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together for at least ten seconds. After about ten seconds, you should see the Apple logo and can release the buttons. If you’re using an iPhone 7, then you can perform a hard reset by holding down the Volume down and Home buttons for about 10 seconds, after which a screen with the Apple logo should appear.
3. Check if the Display is Working
Your iPhone is still on but cannot display anything, then there may be a problem with display. To check whether it is working or not, plug your iPhone to the computer and open iTunes. If iTunes can detect your device or you can hear any sound when connecting to the computer, then it means there is a problem with hardware. So you need to backup all of your data with iTunes or simply backup with Syncios. Then take your iPhone to Apple Store to troubleshoot the problem.
4. Restore your iPhone
If your iPhone displays “Connect to iTunes” screen when it turns on, that it means that the operating system on your iPhone has been damaged or has become corrupted. You can simply fix this problem via iTunes. You can connect your iPhone t computer and then open iTunes. You can see a pop up which says iTunes has detected your device in “recovery mode”. Then it will prompt that you can fix the problem by restoring and updating your iPhone. Click on the restore button to start the process. Then the latest iTunes version will be installed. But remember, it’s very important to backup before the restore. Because all the files and data will be removed from your iPhone during the restore process. You can backup via iCloud, iTunes or Syncios.
5. If Your iPhone’s Screen is Still Black and Won’t Turn On
If your screen is still black, you can go to Apple Store and ask for help. They’ll fix your problem and tell you how much it will cost to fix. And if your issue can’t be fixed and you are lucky enough, may they will replace your iPhone with a new one.
