What’s iOS 11 will bring us? We’ve recognized many new features about iOS 11. But some of these iOS 11 new features are created for iPhone 8. Such as AR function of FaceTime.
It’s reported that FaceTime AR function has been called Light Field Capture which is one of new patents of Apple. The experience of users can be enhanced through AR function. When users are chatting on FaceTime, through adjusting view angle, they can watch the surrounded environment of the people they’re chatting with.
This function is based on iPhone camera and 3D depth sensor. But it’s not mentioned in the panel file that this function has been applied in Apple before. And not all Apple devices can own this function. Thus, it’s guessed that this function may be applied in iPhone 8.
