It’s been a chaotic year for Huawei so far, but in the midst of uncertainty over the company’s future, the first images of what could be Huawei’s next flagship phone have made their way out onto the web.
These renders of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro come from Chinese site IT Home so we can’t guarantee their legitimacy, but they look like they could be genuine images of the phone that’s expected to launch later this year.
Like its predecessor the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, the handset apparently features a rectangular panel to house the camera lenses – only this time there are four of them rather than three.
Early specs of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro surfaced last month including the 6.71-inch AMOLED display. And, according to the information coming out of China, this screen will have a refresh rate of 90Hz – like the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Meanwhile alleged renders of the Mate 30 Pro have surfaced, revealing a phone with a curved edges of its display and with a punch hole in the upper-left corner to accommodate two cameras.
At the back, the smartphone will have a quad camera setup placed in the center with an LED flash in ‘V’ formation. This camera system is said to offer 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom.
The renders also show the Mate 30 Pro in Black, Red, Gold White, Blue, Chrome White, Classic Blue, and Classic Red colors. However, we cannot verify the accuracy of these images, so don’t consider them certain.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is rumored to have Kirin 985 SoC at the helm, paired with Balong 5000 5G modem. Other rumored specs include an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 4,200 mAh battery with 55W fast wired charging support.
Huawei is likely to unveil the Mate 30 Pro in October, but we don’t have to wait until then to know more about it as more information is likely to follow in the meantime.
