Solution
If you happen to experience a blue screen appearing on your iPhone before it suddenly reboots, this is known as the “blue screen of death” and is due to a software issue that could be caused by certain apps. Here are the steps you can take to fix the problem:
1. The first step is to go into Settings > General > Software Update and make sure your device is up to date. Most of the time the problem is fixed by simply updating to the latest OS.
2.If your iPhone is up-to-date and you’re still getting the blue screen of death, then the next step is to perform a full backup and restore of your device. For a detailed guide on how to backup and restore your iPhone click here.

3. If you are still experiencing the blue screen issue after trying a backup and restore, try performing a restore and choosing “setup as new iPhone” when given the option. This means without restoring your saved backup. This should be used a last resort since you will have to manually reinstall your apps and your contacts/media.
