The new macOS Catalina has made some major changes. iTunes applications have been replaced by new music, podcasting and television applications, which have similar but more detailed functions with iTunes. Of course, iOS device management is still available on Mac OS, but it is done through Finder instead of iTunes, and now Apple ID can be accessed through ‘System Preferences’.
And the TV applications can access TV and movies, supporting 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos. Music applications can access Apple Music and iTunes libraries. Podcasts applications can not only provide Podcasts libraries but also browse and view popular lists. A new feature of Sidecar allows users to turn the iPad into a Mac’s auxiliary display by just clicking a button, and even into a drawing board when using applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
